How we pick hotels
Every hotel we feature is handpicked and deliberately covers all price points and styles, from grand hotels by the Brandenburg Gate to budget houses with great transit links. For each property we check verifiable, publicly documented facts on location, amenities and history, and we invent no details. Current prices and open rooms come straight from Booking.com via embedded maps, so the data you see is always up to date.
What you'll find here
The guide splits Berlin into its twelve districts - from historic Mitte through creative Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg to the green south-west - describing for each neighbourhood its atmosphere, its connections and the question of who it best suits for a stay. Alongside that we sort houses into ten hotel styles, from luxury and boutique to design, apartments and budget addresses. Add to that editorial portraits of the key attractions with matching hotels within walking distance, plus ready-made itineraries for one to three days. So you don't just find "a hotel in Berlin", but the house that fits the way you travel.
What we stand for
- ✓Factual accuracy: everything rests on public sources and gets rechecked regularly.
- ✓Local focus: we recommend by district and trip type, not through anonymous lists.
- ✓Freshness: prices and open rooms arrive live, not from stale tables.
- ✓Transparency: we mark affiliate links plainly as what they are.
How we're funded
To keep this guide free for you, we team up with affiliate partners such as Booking.com (via Stay22) and GetYourGuide. Book through one of our links and a small commission comes our way, at no extra cost to you. Which properties we recommend is never swayed by these commissions; our selection stays purely editorial.
