Hotels in Spandau

Spandau ticks differently from the rest of the city - with its historic old town, citadel and Havel waterfront. The district is inexpensive, well linked to the center by S- and U-Bahn, and therefore ideal for budget travelers or trade-fair visitors.

Atmosphere

Small-town in feel, historic and close to the water. Old-town charm, festivals around the citadel and ferries across the Havel.

  • Short stays by car

Spandau ticks differently from the rest of Berlin - with its historic old town, the Renaissance citadel and long waterside paths on the Havel, the western tip feels almost like a small town of its own. We do not (yet) run a curated hotel selection for Spandau, yet the district is worth a look: prices sit noticeably below those of the inner city.

Spandau becomes practical above all for trade-fair visitors near the nearby exhibition grounds and for travellers with a car who want to stay cheaply and quietly and commute into the centre by day. Via the U7 and the regional rail you reach Bahnhof Zoo in around 25 minutes. The interactive map above shows you available houses around the old town and the Havel with up-to-date prices.
