East Side Gallery
A preserved 1.3 km section of the Berlin Wall covered by 105 paintings. It counts as the longest connected open-air gallery in the world.
At around 1.3 kilometres, the East Side Gallery is the longest preserved section of the Berlin Wall and, at the same time, an unbroken open-air gallery. The paintings along the Spree recall the fall of the Wall, and a walk from the Oberbaum Bridge to Ostbahnhof is well worth it.
The gallery sits in Friedrichshain, right beside the Spree and close to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof (S-Bahn) are reachable within a few minutes.
