Mauerpark
Laid out on the former wall strip, it is now Berlin's best-known Sunday park with a flea market and amphitheatre karaoke.
For Prenzlauer Berg, Mauerpark is the weekend living room: on Sundays a flea market, street music and the legendary Bearpit karaoke all come together here. People picnic, barbecue and play on the wide meadow, which feels thoroughly Berlin and is free of charge.
The park lies on the border between Prenzlauer Berg and Wedding, reachable by tram (M10) and U-Bahn (U8 Bernauer Straße). It goes well together with the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Straße.
