About this hotel
The owners have been running this place themselves for more than 20 years. Alongside a hotel and apartments, it has operated its own brewery (Circus Brewing) in the same block since 2018. The house arranges its own city tours, both in English and in German.
The owner-run Circus Hotel on Rosenthaler Platz shows that being central and affordable is no contradiction. Operated with plenty of Berlin character for more than two decades, it even added its own brewery to the block in 2018.
Starting from Rosenthaler Platz (U8), Hackescher Markt, Mitte and the Torstraße nightlife are all an easy walk away. Its own city tours in German and English smooth the arrival, making it a fine choice for young and curious travelers.
For longer stays it is worth looking at the associated apartments, which offer a little more space and a kitchenette. Rosenthaler Platz is busy in the evenings - if you need quiet, ask for a room away from the street; if you want to be in the thick of it, this is exactly right.
Mitte
Stately, steeped in history, urban and elegant. By day tourists set the scene, by evening it is theater and fine dining.
