About this hotel
The place sits inside a one-time vacuum-cleaner factory on Hobrechtstraße. Within a covered hall, vintage caravans and self-built huts take on the role of rooms. Classic hotel rooms are there too if preferred, plus a café in the courtyard.
In Neukölln, the Hüttenpalast is one of Berlin's most unusual houses: inside a former vacuum-cleaner factory you spend the night in vintage caravans and self-built huts under a covered hall, alongside classic rooms and a café in the courtyard.
Set in the heart of lively Neukölln, the Maybachufer, bars and galleries are reachable on foot; U7 and U8 link you to the rest of the city. For curious, young travelers, an experience at a fair price.
The caravan concept is charming but takes getting used to - the bathrooms for the huts are outside them, so for anyone expecting classic comfort we suggest the regular rooms. On Tuesdays and Fridays the Turkish market on the nearby Maybachufer is worth an early start.
Neukölln
Hip, varied, creative and young. Brunch spots, late-night kiosks, markets for little money and gallery openings.
