Tiergarten
Berlin's grand inner-city park spanning 210 hectares between Brandenburg Gate and Zoo Station. It takes in the Victory Column, English Garden and Café am Neuen See.
As the green lung in the centre of Berlin, the Großer Tiergarten offers an expansive park with lakes, meadows and shady avenues, ideal for catching your breath between two sightseeing stops. The Victory Column at its heart opens up a fine all-round view.
The park runs between the Brandenburg Gate and Zoo station, and around it lie the Reichstag, Bellevue Palace and the Kulturforum. Its edges are lined by several S- and U-Bahn stations.
